In addition to receiving their highest national ranking since finishing No. 9 in 2001, the Ole Miss hoopsters (#14 AP, #16 Coaches) got some love in today's "Bracketology" by ESPN's Joe Lunardi. ESPN's resident NCAA Bracket-projecting expert pegged Ole Miss (11-2) as a No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region.
The Rebels face UCF on Tuesday night in the final tuneup for conference play, which tips off on Saturday with a big-time SEC West showdown between the Rebels and Mississippi State Bulldogs. Tipoff is 12:30 p.m. at the Tad Pad. The game will be televised by the SEC Network.
