As the college basketball season charges into March Madness, here are some fun facts about this year's Ole Miss hoops squad...
- With a 19-9 record entering Thursday's LSU game, the Rebels need one win to reach the 20 plateau for the 10th time in school history.
- Andy Kennedy would become just the second head coach in school history with three 20-win seasons, doing so in his first four years at the helm.
- Kennedy would become the ninth coach in SEC history to win 20+ games in three of his first four seasons at a league school.
- The Rebels' win over Kansas State (currently No. 5 in RPI) in Puerto Rico is the best non-league win by an SEC team away from its home court this season.
- Chris Warren has made a 3-pointer in 38 straight games, the second-best streak in school history and ninth-best in SEC history.
- Along with an opportunity to earn its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2002, Ole Miss is in position to claim its first winning SEC record since 2002 if it wins each of its final two games.
Fans are encouraged to wear red for Thursday's game. Red t-shirts will also be given out to the first 1,500 fans, courtesy of Coca-Cola, and the Cotton Bowl trophy will be presented at halftime. Check out the game notes for more info on the game.

I cant believe that Ole Miss is not one of the last 4 in they have Mississippi State ahead of us to go in as one of the last 4. Sure they may have one more win than Ole Miss but Ole Miss has wins over Kansas St. and Conference USA leader UTEP. Mississippi State has no wins against teams of this calibur. I hope the committee gives us the nod this year when selection time comes.
