It was announced earlier this week that Rebel great Archie Manning and veteran ABC sportscaster Brent Musburger have been designated as the first members of the National Selection Committee for the Maxwell Football Club's Joseph V. Paterno Coach of the Year Award. The Paterno award was established this year, and candidates will be evaluated on criteria that will include, on field success, commitment to the development of well-rounded student-athletes, and involvement in the community. Members of the Paterno Award National Selection Committee will be announced throughout the spring. Full release below.
