Rebel fans have been excited about Jelan Kendrick for almost a year now, since the dynamic 6-foot-7 guard arrived in Oxford by way of the Memphis Tigers.
Well, it seems the national media has taken notice, as well.
Kendrick was rated the nation's No. 3 impact transfer by CBSSports.com today. He can't play until the fall semester ends, but if he lives up to the hype, look for Ole Miss basketball to do big things in 2011-12.
