Countdown To Kickoff: 19 Days

Today's countdown to kickoff features former Ole Miss QB Doug Elmore. A native of Reform, Ala. (that's close to Gordo for those that don't know), Elmore helped lead the Rebels to back-to-back national titles in 1959 and 60 and earned first team All-America honors in 1961.

Next up: Who else, the Redhead from Drew?

  1. When you get to #15, there's only one choice... All-America selection, Sugar Bowl MVP, Senior Bowl star, QB and captain of Ole Miss' only undefeated, untied team... Glynn "Squirrel" Griffing.

  2. As a young Rebel living in Reform, I'd love to get some more info on this guy.
