Countdown To Kickoff: 23 Days

Today's countdown to kickoff is a personal favorite of mine. As the "photo guru" for the office, it's my responsibility to organize all the football photos and as you can imagine we accumulate a lot of photos throughout the season (well over 10,000 from last year alone). After a while all the photos start to run together and look the same, but every once in a while you find a gem.















Honestly, I'm not sure why I like this photo so much; it's just funny. Number 57 is obviously Jerrell Powe, while the guy who looks like he is going to be crushed is special teamer extraordinaire George Helow. The photo was taken just after Powe's interception against Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl as the two teammates (who were also teammates at Hargrave Military Academy) celebrated.
