If you've visited Yahoo's MLB front page today, you probably noticed a Rebel in the lead story. The site is breaking down the 2010 Draft, and the analysts for both Yahoo and Rivals project Ole Miss ace Drew Pomeranz as the No. 2 overall selection to Pittsburgh. It would be the highest draft spot by a Rebel in our storied history. Several other bloggers -- MLBBonusBaby, 5 Tool Talk and Camden Depot -- also have Drew going second, while the rest of the know-it-alls have him at least in the top seven picks. All of this is to say expect Pomz to get paid royally.
The MLB First-Year Player Draft is June 7-9 in Secaucus, N.J.
