Countdown To Kickoff: 66 Days
As the countdown to kickoff rolls on, we highlight former Ole Miss linebacker Jeff Herrod. Number 66 in the program (which sounds a little odd for a LB, at least to me), Herrod led the Rebels in tackles from 1985-87 and is the program's all-time leading tackler with 528 career stops. He went on to play 11 seasons in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts and the Philadelphia Eagles.
