As the countdown reaches the 60's, we highlight one of the all-time great Rebels Richard Price. A three-year letterwinner for Ole Miss, Price won 29 games in the Red and Blue from 1958-60 including back-to-back national titles in 1959 and '60. After his playing days were over, Price established the Richard Price Courage and Compassion Award, which is presented each season to a senior who demonstrates dedication to Ole Miss and his teammates.
If you have a suggestion for a favorite player, play or something a little more creative you would like to see featured in the countdown, leave a comment below or shoot me an e-mail at desnowde@olemiss.edu.
