Former NCAA Champion Is Double Trouble

Former Rebel netter and 1995 NCAA Doubles Champion Mahesh Bhupathi continues his quest for his 12th grand slam title, advancing to the doubles semifinals at the U.S. Open Tuesday with his partner Mark Knowles. Bhupathi and Knowles defeated Ivan Ljubicic(CRO)/Michael Llodra(FRA) 6-4, 4-6, 7-6(4) in the quarterfinals.

Bhupathi is also playing in the Mixed Doubles with Liezel Huber of the United States. They are the No. 1 seeds and will play in the quarterfinals later today.
