Countdown To Kickoff: 42 Days
Chuckin' Charlie Conerly. The first in the line of great Ole Miss quarterbacks, Conerly led the Rebels to their first SEC Championship in 1947 before going on to play 14 season in the NFL with the New York Giants. Conerly finished fourth in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1947 and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1966.
