Today's entry features former Ole Miss linebacker Kem Coleman. A 'backer for the Rebels from 1974-77, Coleman is second all-time in school history with 472 career stops. What is kind of interesting is that Coleman is second all-time in tackles, but only led his team in stops one season. To be fair, he did play along side a couple of guys named George Plasketes and Ben Williams.

BAD. ASS. MAN.
ReplyDeleteKem was a great friend and player for years, lost touch with in the early 80's.
ReplyDeleteKem Coleman lives in Oxford, MS. He volunteers at the Food Pantry. I spoke to him there today. I met him a few years ago when he attended Oxford Church of Christ. He now attends a Presbyterian Church in Oxford.
DeleteKem was as much of a talent off the field as too, enough said. Plan on visiting him soon..
ReplyDeleteRIP Kem.
