Keith Carter was one of the most popular basketball players in Ole Miss history. He is now trying to translate that popularity into dollars for the Rebels, as he works to build support for our athletics programs through the UMAA Foundation. Carter's career path was the subject of a feature in today's Clarksdale Press Register.
Rebel standout revisits career
Carter and the UMAAF staff have a busy Saturday ahead of them, hosting the annual Meet The Rebels Day tomorrow. Fans will be introduced to the football, soccer and volleyball squads and student-athletes will be signing autographs. Activities begin with a volleyball scrimmage at 10 a.m. at the Gillom Sports Center, followed by fan festivities at noon at the Indoor Practice Facility and conclude with a football scrimmage in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
