Countdown To Kickoff: 20 Days
Today's the countdown honors one of the greatest individual performances in college football history. Showboat Boykin ran over, around and through Mississippi State in the 1951 Egg Bowl, amassing 187 yards rushing and a record seven touchdowns on the ground. Boykin's seven rushing scores is still tied for the NCAA D-I record today.
